Learning Activities/Strategies: Bring staff together in August to begin planning. Write notes from all course material and activities. Share with co-developers and staff on a regular basis.Work with Marion Porath to apply for grant money to support development and materials for the course.Meet regularly with Pamela Richardson to review course material and developement.Investigate material and plans for three initial strands 1) Human Developement 2) Social Justice 3) Media Awareness. Review material and plans regularly with staff.Collect feedback from staff, students and parents.Present material periodically to parents. Discuss needs of new university students with grad students to meet possible needs of year students.Organize guest lecturers, including history professor.Develop mentorship portion of the program.Submit BAA outline to VSB.Investigate possibility of university course credit.Organize and review written material as the course progresses.
