Web Development Goal Youth Leadership Goal

A professional goal for Betty Gilgoff for the 2204/2005 school term. Goal: To develop the use the Transition Web site so that it 1) more effectively meets the needs of the staff and students in the program 2) is linked to student e-portfolios 3) is an effective tool for providing information about the program to the public. Learning Activities/Strategies: Map out the web pages. Review web page plans with staff and students. Work with students re design and set up of web pages. Update information regularly to keep it current. Look for and take at least one course related to web design/management during the school year. Work with UBC community with regard to eportfolios for student use. Integrate Learning Portfolio Model with eportfolio. Work with Year one students to set up sample eportfolios. Create private (trans only) section of web pages for eportfolios.
