Welcome to the KEEP Toolkit Version 2.0!

This page provides an overview of the updates and additions to the KEEP Toolkit and offers a new user a quick orientation to the KEEP Toolkit. When you login for a second time, you will not see this page.

Publishing

Now you can publish your work to share with and make it searchable by others! Simply select a number of snapshots, stitched groups, and galleries from your Dashboard and click "Publish." As a bonus, each item you publish gets a short URL like such: http://www.cfkeep.org/users/youralias/portfolio (using a short title) or http://www.cfkeep.org/users/youralias/tags/yourtag (using a tag).

Licensing

We have included Creative Commons to help you license your work when you publish it in KEEP. There are six licenses, in addition to traditional copyright, available for use if you publish snapshots, stitched groups, and galleries, and click on "Choose a license" link. Selected license will appear at the bottom of your pages. To learn more about the Creative Commons licenses, go here.

Simple URLs

In order to make access and viewing of your published work easier and the URLs shorter, we ask you to select a user alias that will enable you to browse your Dashboard without logging into KEEP Toolkit, like such: http://www.cfkeep.org/users/youralias

Community

We are happy to mention that the work you publish in KEEP may be exhibited in our new Teaching and Learing Commons in the upcoming months. The Knowledge Media Lab has undertaken a task of creating a community space for users of both the KEEP Toolkit and the Gallery of Teaching and Learning and will send out a newsletter to you with more information very soon.
