  • Kyle is excited about physiology class and believes his strengths that will help the team cannot be put into words ;o)
  • Crystal has taken A464 Histology which helps her knowledge of the systems in physiology, especially when we get to organ systems people havent studied all that much like the renal system.

  • Small Group Discussion

~The websites listed correspond to the links containing the same number.~

Here are a couple websites that I found to be a good summary of the cardiovascular system:

    1. http://www.innerbody.com/anim/card.html

    2. http://www.biologyinmotion.com/cardio/

    3. http://www.mercksharpdohme.com/disease/heart/coronary_health/anatomy/cardio02.html

The first two are more basic to help get the general idea of how and what the heart does. The last one is a further in depth discussion of why and how the circulatory system operates the way it does. I found it beneficial because I thought my book diagram was pretty complex and hard to follow. These websites broke it down into individual components and then progressively made it more complex.

    -Steph

Here is another website that I found that shows a great visible representation of the heart structure, blood structure, and blood vessels.

    4. http://web.buddyproject.org/web019/web019/default.htm

This website has separate links for each of the three sections listed above. This is a great, site!

    -Adam

Hey Y'all, I read this stuff in my spare time while studying for the MCAT. This is the link from Medscape for cardiology. Kyle

    http://www.medscape.com/cardiologyhome

    4. Cardiovascular Website
This website has some great visual representations of the various components of the cardiovascular system.

    2. Cardiovascular Link
Animated tutorial about the basic design of the cardiovascular system.

    1. How Heart Works
Describes what and how the heart works.

    3. In Depth About Cardiovascular System
An in depth discussion of why and how the circulatory system operates.
