Fitness Goals for Betty Gilgoff for the 2004/2005 school year.


Goals:

  • To certify as an open water scuba diver.
  • To dive at least four times apart from my scuba course.
  • To ski at least four times during this winter season.
  • To walk regularly for exercise.
  • To ride my bike to school at least once per week while school is in session in 2005.

  • Learning Activities/Strategies:

  • Buy an Edge card for Whistler. Plan ski days with my children. Promise to take them!
  • Take Scuba lessons through Trans.
  • Sign up for Dives through UBC Aquasoc.
  • Convince my friend to take diving and to go to Mexico to dive with me.
  • Walk with Robert at least once each weekend. (Twice is better.)
  • Take a lunch break once per week to walk with Judith.
  • Choose a day in the week to cycle regardless of weather. Stick to it. Tell people I'm going to do it.
  • Participate in REC at Trans once per week. Book meetings other times.
  • Keep doing situps and weights at night if I am watching T.V.
  • Diving in Mexico
