First Steps

My main goal for this class was to develop an annotated bibliography for use with 4th and 5th grades.

The Journey Forward

Step 1: Revisit bibliography, adding more websites and audio-visuals as I find them.

Step 2: A trip to the Lebanon County Historical Society to find any exact links to the Campbelltown area which is in the Palmyra School District. According to William Switala's book, The Underground Railroad in Pennsylvania, the Bachman farm in Campbelltown was a station. Due to the number of Bachman's in the area, this will require further research.

Step 3: The next step of my journey will be to work with my 4th grade teachers who will be teaching the History of Pennsylvania, and my 5th grade teachers who teach the Civil War.

Step 4: This will be the wait for more information about the local area. I posted to the editor of Afrolumens Project, and am awaiting responses.
