The five scholars, representing Economics, ESL, Political Science, Broadcasting, and English, collaborated in SoTL work focused on fostering civic awareness and knowledge in their disciplines.

The Integrative Learning Project
This wonderful project was sponsored by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Association of American Colleges and Universities.

The CASTL Institutional Leadership Program
College of San Mateo's project focused on studying the impact of Writing across the Curriculum on students with weak writing skills.
